When I first heard this song, I couldn’t wait to add it to my playlist for my Zumba® class. Sure Zumba® can be high-energy and a non-stop exhilarating hour-long workout, but it’s also good to bring the heart rate down after it’s been up for a couple of energetic songs.  It helps the heart become stronger and build it’s endurance.

Plus, I enjoy when my students can actually learn some dance moves and then add their own flavor to it.  I want my students to dance with me and feel like they can master learning choreo so they can practice it on their own.  No one wants to feel lost all the time, at least I don’t like to.  Once you learn the choreo and hear the song in class, you can dance to it and feel good that you got the choreo down packed.  Then it’s time for a new song, new choreo, and new dance moves to learn.  Learning never stops. Dancing to new rhythms should never stop as well.

I wonder what style of dance or genre of music will be next.  I guess you have to stick around to find out 🙂

After 2 months of personal training with Bobby at The Custom Fitness Institute, the final results are now in.  If you have been following lunasol vida on Instagram, you would have seen the workouts I was doing at my training sessions.  If you haven’t seen it, have no fear because I will be posting it on this blog to recap the type of workouts I did to burn fat & gain muscles.  After this experience, I learned what I have to do to get rid of the stubborn fat that doesn’t want to leave, the proper way to build muscle and can’t wait to share my knowledge to everyone who wants to do the same.

Watch the video and see how much fat has been lost and how much muscle was gained.  Learn why it’s so important to take body measurements rather than weighing yourself on the scale to determine your progress.  And as always, stay focused, stay active and never be afraid to ask for help in reaching your fitness goals.

Yes, it’s true… I can dance for hours & run for miles, but ask me to go to the gym to lift weights and I’m lost (and will probably end up in the group-fitness studio instead). It’s not my favorite activity and I’m sure many can relate.

Welcome to lunasol vida! My name is Zule (ZZ) and I am a group-fitness instructor in South Florida who specializes in Zumba® & Mat Pilates. As some of you may know, I recently auditioned to be a Fly Girl for Lisa Marie’s Fly Girl 101 session at this year’s Zumba® Convention (ZinCon) happening July 27th – 30th in Orlando, FL. Follow me as I prepare and transform my fitness level to the best that I can be in hopes of influencing & motivating my students/followers in their own health & wellness journey.

Thank you to everyone who donated and participated in this charity event for Peru.  We featured and danced to some classic Peruvian songs while bringing awareness of the Peruvian culture.

The money we raised will be donated to Americares Relief Fund for Peru who have been providing medical care, shelter and food for the displaced Peruvians cause by the Peru Floods of 2017.  A million thanks to you all!

Thank you to everyone who came to the Best of Zumba 2016 class held at Pivotal Fitness in beautiful Fort Lauderdale, FL! It was great to see new new and old faces dancing to the best songs of 2016. It was a full class!!! Thank you to those who stayed after for the group pic.

Best of Zumba 2016 was such a success that it will now be an annual event so I can’t wait to see what 2017 has in store for us… until then we will keep dancing and having fun!
